Pam Macklin

Pam Macklin is the Manager for Advocacy at HUBB, a role she has delivered for the last three years. With Jenny she designed and delivers HUBB’s programmes on the Mental Capacity Act, Capacity Assessments and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Pam is also a qualified instructor for the National Mental Health First Aid programme.

 

Pam has an established training background including Training Manager for HAVCO (Havering Association of Voluntary & Community Organisations) and Business Support Manager for Capita (formally The Industrial Society). Her previous work experience and current role in HUBB gives Pam a powerful training skill set. This includes designing and carrying out Training Needs Analysis, planning, designing, facilitating and monitoring training programmes according to identified need. Pam also provides very strong organisational and logistical capabilities.

 

Keen to develop her own skills and knowledge Pam has participated in many training programmes and workshops. She is very effective at transferring the information and learning personally achieved to her colleagues. Programmes attended include Inspirational Leadership, Coaching for Performance, Creative Interventions in the Workplace, Teaching Improvement Project System, Presentation Skills Masterclass, Project Management, Safeguarding Adults, Cultural Competency and Preparing the Workforce for Change.
