2011 marks our 20th Anniversary!

‘Recovery Is...’ Book Launch 4th August

Rob Thomas is the Training Coordinator for HUBB. His responsibilities cover training and facilitating HUBB’s programmes together with design, development and marketing of new initiatives. He also designed and maintains the HUBB website and ‘Blog’.

Rob is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and a National Training Team Member for the Youth Mental Health First Aid programmes through Mental Health First Aid England. He is also a member of the Recovery Star Development Group run by the Mental Health Providers Forum.

Rob has over 25 years experience as a consultant, designer and facilitator in a range of programmes and has a particular expertise in experiential learning and development. Rob has worked in environments as varied as teaching boys with behavioural difficulties to coaching, leadership and ‘Train The Trainer’ programmes in major businesses. His work has taken him throughout the UK and Europe and as far as India, China and Japan.

Rob has achieved a B.Ed. in Environmental Studies & Outdoor Education and an MA in International Photojournalism, Documentary & Travel Photography. In 2007 he produced a photobook, ‘Through Our Eyes’, in collaboration with four young people from the communities in Mumbai, India, that emphasises the power of participative and collaborative projects in communication. Rob is also a qualified ‘Myers-Briggs Type Indicator’ (MBTI) facilitator, and has   completed Coaching programmes and Neuro-Linguistic Programming training.
